The star has given the entirety of his twenty-five thousand pound honor prize money to the MVT, which operates to preserve the UK's grassroots live music spots.
Fender was awarded the prize on 16 October as his latest record People Watching was chosen as the best record of the previous year.
He has opted to give the cash to the Music Venues Trust, in appreciation of the essential function small stages fulfilled in his initial steps.
"As an artist couldn't be pursuing what I am doing today if it hadn't been for all the performances I performed around the region, and beyond, when I was just getting going," said the artist. "These venues are renowned, but they are in difficulty."
From early 2023 onward, more than 150 of these venues have shut down – approximately one-sixth of the whole industry in the UK.
Over the past year, well-known musicians such as Pulp, the group Coldplay, the singer Katy Perry and Sheeran have all aided the MVT in its efforts to support the industry, by including a modest fee to their ticket prices, which goes to help smaller concert halls.
Sam Fender also joined in, collecting over £100k on his 2024 arena tour to assist thirty-eight local spots across Britain.
These funds supported locations that were facing possible closure due to difficulties caused by floods, fire incidents and family tragedies, as well as regulatory hurdles, legal disputes and sound issues.
Additional spaces received monetary aid in improving amenities and technical equipment that directly benefitted artists and concertgoers.
"The notion that revenue from shows in large arenas supports the local stages, where it kicks off for musicians like me, is just common sense," Fender has commented.
He is among several artists to donate his honor funds to worthy causes.

And the 1994 recipients they gave their winnings to a charity for MS after a close contact was diagnosed the illness.
"Receiving the award was ample," said singer the singer. "The prize was the cherry on top but we could do without the cherry, because we had the honor. So our victory impacted another person's life."
Recently, the trust revealed it had rescued a couple of small stages in south-east England, by transferring them to public stewardship.
One venue in the city and the second in the city were purchased under the public acquisition scheme, which is funded by the arts council and enthusiasts who buy "ownership units" in the properties.
