Seattle engineered a stunning comeback to overcome the Rams in extra time, securing their spot in the NFL play-offs.

Rallying from a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, notching their fifth straight victory.

While the Rams had become the first to earn a playoff spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a two-year hiatus.

With this outcome, the Seahawks now lead their Conference race with a 12-3 mark, replacing the Rams, who fell to the fifth playoff position with an eleven and four record.

Game Highlights

Signal-caller Sam Darnold threw two picks but regrouped to make two touchdown passes, culminating in the tying TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 lead at the break before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a long touchdown run for Seattle.

Rams cornerback Wallace then returned Darnold's first pick for a big return, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.

Although Puka Nacua raced in for his another touchdown in OT, Jaxon Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the decisive conversion.
